GUIde 7 Meetings & Teleconferences

Annual Meeting

The in-person annual meeting, which is held each fall, provides an opportunity for the GUIde Consortium members to review the overall strides made within each research project.  On the first day of the meeting, the researchers present their data to date and field questions from the GUIde Consortium and invited guests.  Likewise, each researcher receives in-depth feedback from the Steering Committee.  The morning of the second day is reserved for the GUIde Steering Committee's business items.

Quarterly Telconferences & Technical Reports

In addition to the annual meeting, each researcher is required to give a presentation to the GUIde 6 Technical Committee via teleconference call and the web three times per year. These quarterly teleconferences allow the Technical Committee to assess progress on milestones and deliverables, and gives the investigator immediate input on the direction of their research.

Also, within a few weeks of the second quarter's (spring) teleconference and the annual meeting (fall), the researchers submit a written technical report to the GUIde 6 Technical Committee.
